Six to nine weeks, described honestly.
Every stage, what it actually looks like living without a kitchen for a stretch, and exactly when money moves.
- Week 0
Design visit & 3D layout
An hour at your kitchen table, followed by a full 3D render of the proposed layout within a week.
- Weeks 1–2
Sign-off, ordering & scheduling
Final design approved, cabinetry and appliances ordered, stone worktop provisionally booked. Nothing on site yet.
Paperwork, not disruption - Week 3
Strip-out
Old kitchen removed, first-fix electrics and plumbing repositioned to the new layout. The kitchen goes out of use from here.
Kitchen unavailable - Weeks 4–5
Cabinetry install
Units built and fitted in place, levelled and secured. The loudest, dustiest stretch of the whole job.
The disruptive weeks - Week 6
Stone template & fabrication
Worktop templated from the fitted cabinets, then cut in our own workshop — this is why the worktop can't be measured any earlier.
- Week 7
Worktop fit & second fix
Stone installed, sink and tap plumbed in, appliances integrated and tested.
- Weeks 8–9
Splashback, decoration & snagging
Tiling or glass splashback, final electrics, a joint walkthrough to catch anything before handover.
Five stages. Nothing paid before it's earned.
Four protections, all checkable.
Design deposit only
The design deposit covers the 3D layout and consultation — not the full build cost, so you're never risking much before you've seen anything.
Insurance-backed guarantee
Ten years, in your name, issued by the insurer — covered even if we stopped trading.
Proof of insurance
£5m public liability, provided before strip-out begins.
Written contract
Scope, price and payment stages fixed in writing before any deposit is taken.
